Platform Admin Console
(PAC)

The Platform Admin Console (PAC) provides a unified interface for managing users, resources, policies, and services across cloud, edge, and hybrid environments. With real-time visibility and fine-grained access controls, PAC empowers administrators to oversee infrastructure operations, enforce governance, and streamline platform-wide configurations—all from a single dashboard.

The PAC directly replaces Platform Manager UI with nearly all back-end functionality remaining the same. The UI aims to improve navigation and ease of use with some much needed quality of life UI and UX components.

New and improved features with PAC are:

  • Centralized logging updates and improvements
  • Updated tenant and instance management screen
  • Updated policy management
  • Provider type policies
  • Each policy now covers all available feature
  • Updated role management with customizable roles and permission
  • Separated SKU and pricing management to allow specific users to manage pricing without having access to other settings and resource

Tenant and instance management

Updates to the tenant and instance UI to support new provider allocation and policies.

Tenants

  • Updated UI
  • Tenants can now be allocated specific providers only
  • Support for the new policy feature in tenant creation
  • Support for SSO configuration per tenant, allowing 3rd party IDPs to be added

Instances

  • Updated UI
  • Support for advanced theme management

Policy management

Updates to the policy management to separate by provider type and include all available features as part of a policy. This provides a much greater level of control over what tenants can provision.

  • Individual provider type policies
  • Each policy covers nearly all available resource
  • Request/approval mechanism between tenants and platform administrator
  • Custom threshold setting per policy with email notification

Users, roles and user groups

Support for updated user management, fully customizable roles and user groups.

  • Roles can now be created and customized to reflect all available permission
  • Roles support feature groups to allow setting permissions for whole features and sections (to make defining permissions simpler)
  • Support for user groups to allow simpler assignment of roles (roles can be assigned to user groups and users added to groups).

Centralized logging
improvements

Aiming to provide a centralized dashboard with advanced search and filtering to collect and find logs from all core applications to further aide in troubleshooting and support.

  • Revamped LSS to aggregate forwarded application logs from each component
  • Centralize all log collection
  • Provide dashboard and log analytics
  • Provide deeper log information to better supplement event log
  • Filter billing and payment specific logs into BSS
  • Replaces current LSS functionality

BSS

Holistic management view of all tenants revenue and
spend across the platform

  • View and manage each tenants revenue and payments
  • Integrated payment logs and remediation actions for invoice payments
  • Manage and resolve payment and invoice problems
  • Revenue analytics across all platform providers,
  • regions and service
  • View and analyze revenue and spending trends with analytics dashboards

Support plans

Support plans allow you to define packages available for tenants to subscribe to as a monthly add-on service with the Service Portal. You will be able to define pricing and plan contents via the PAC.

  • Define custom support plans users can subscribe to at any time from the Service Portal
  • Users can upgrade/downgrade support plans accordingly
  • Automated billing included in the tenants invoice
